The Studio is a new dance studio and creative space in Kasson, MN located at 121 West Main Street.
We offer professional instruction to dancers of all ages, and we invite you to learn more and register below.
From ballet to hip hop, high kick to lyrical, and everything in between - our offerings include a full range of class and competition opportunities to help each dancer reach their full potential.
Regardless of experience or skill level, The Studio is a place where dancers are encouraged, reach for their goals, and thrive together with their peers.

Registration
Registration is open. We welcome dancers of all ages and skill levels in ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, and pointe. Together with our stellar crew of instructors, dancers will hone their skills, increase their confidence, and become a part of our new studio family.

This camp is designed for dancers ages 5-7 of all experience and skill levels. Students will practice a variety of dance styles such as ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and technique. This camp is limited to 30 students. Information about attire, faculty, and schedule will be communicated via email as the camp date approaches.

This workshop is designed for students ages 8+ who are intermediate/advanced dancers (typically 4+ years of experience). Small groups will be created to ensure dancers are receiving instruction that fits their current comfort levels. Students elevate their skills in a variety of styles such as contemporary, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, and technique. This workshop is limited to 50 students. Information about attire and schedule will be communicated via email as the workshop date approaches.

Meet the Instructors
Jada – She is an upcoming 4-year member and 1-year captain of the St. Cloud State University dance team. While on the team she has earned four national titles as well as several other top three placements. Jada has been dancing since the age 3 years old. Before attending SCSU, she was a 5-year member and 2-year captain of the Cannon Falls Bomber dance team. In addition to dancing, she is a volunteer coach for the Cannon Falls dance team.
Kristina – Kristina started out as a studio dancer at the age of 3, training and competing with Chanhassen Dance and Performing Arts Centre. Growing up she trained in all different styles- jazz, ballet, lyrical, musical theater, hip-hop, etc. Kristina then attended Eden Prairie High School, where she was a 4-year member and senior captain of the Eden Prairie Pom Squad. With her team, she won 3 Jazz National Championships at the National Dance Team Championships, along with 5 second place finishes. She then moved on to attend the University of Minnesota - studying Communications and Sports Management. While earning her degree she was a 4-year member and senior captain of the University of Minnesota Dance Team. During her time on the team, she won 6 national titles at the UDA College Championship and won a gold and silver medal as Team USA at the ICU World Championship. While on both her high school and college dance teams, she received awards such as Most Inspirational, Most Improved, and Gopher Spirit Award. For the past 8 season, Kristina was a proud Varsity Assistant Coach of Prior Lake Dance Team, recently stepping down in order to put more focus into the growth of EDC. Kristina is currently the assistant director at Evolution Dance Company in Savage, MN. At EDC, she works with competitive dancers of all ages on solos, group dances, and technique-based classes. She is grateful to push boundaries, express creativity, and help to shape young dancers every single day!
Summer Intensive

EMPOWER.EMBRACE.ELEVATE - TRANSFORM YOUR TRAINING THIS SUMMER
This summer intensive is designed for students ages 5-18 who are looking for a more serious space for skill building. This intensive is open to all levels, and small groups will be created to ensure dancers are receiving instruction that fits their current skill levels. A focus will be placed on preparing for competition company, but students are not required to be a part of a competition company to enroll. This summer intensive is limited to 30 students. Information about attire and schedule will be communicated via email as the first summer intensive date approaches.

Meet the Instructors – Summer Intensive will be lead by various instructors from The Studio including:
Jen – As Chief of Inspiration at The Studio, Jen brings experience and passion to her role. She grew up dancing at Monona Academy of Dance and with the Austin Packer Dance Team. Her love of dance became a career with freelancing, consulting, and coaching competitive dance team - winning numerous titles and awards. She is a proud member of MN Association of Dance Teams and fuses love and dance together to empower dancers to be their best selves both on and off the floor.
Isaac – At the age of 9, Isaac started dancing in Puerto Rico – in every moment he lives and breathes dance. He studied dance at Dance and Arts Master Academy and received aBA in Dance from Sagrado Corazon University. His adventures beyond formal education include dancing with Team Puerto Rico worldwide, International Cheer Union,US All Star Federation, and Centro Danza and Ballets de San Juan dance company. In the USA, he has performed with Atlantic City Ballet and is a company dance member ofTwin City Ballets of MN.
Chelsey – At the age of 3, she started dancing with a local studio. She has experience in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip hop. In high school, she was a member of the John Marshall High School competitive dance team and served on the choreography committee for three years. Since then, she’s judged tryouts for high school dance teams in Rochester and simply loves coaching dance and helping teach new skills. In her free time, she enjoys camping, crafting, and spending time with her family – including her two kiddos.

So…Do you think you can dance? Join Madison Jordan, a talented dancer who has been on many stages – including as a competitor in Season 16 of the popular TV show So You Think You Can Dance. Madison is excited to share her talents and experiences with dancers of all experience levels. This instruction will focus on the contemporary dance style. This master class is limited to 40 students. Information about attire and schedule will be communicated via email as the master class date approaches.

Master Class Instructor Bio
Madison – She is a dancer, instructor, and choreographer based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She trained at Larkin Dance Studio from the age of 3. After high school she went on to dance for the University of Minnesota’s dance team, where she played a role in winning a double national championship. Madison continued her passion for dance and was one of the top 6 contestants on the TV series So You Think You Can Dance season 16. She then toured across the country performing with the top 10. She has also made appearances on The Ellen Degeneres show and America’s Got Talent. She lived in Los Angeles pursuing a professional dance career, while being signed with Bloc Talent Agency. Madison is currently living in Minnesota as a full time staff member of Larkin Dance Studio and a company member with the professional dance company, Crash Dance Productions. In addition, she enjoys traveling around the U.S teaching and choreographing for other studios and judging dance competitions, such as Showbiz Dance Competition.

The Studio has developed a new and exciting summer training program specific with dance teams in mind! This new program is structured for beginner dancers (b-squad/JV) who are entering 7th grade. We will fuse studio training and dance team structure to create a solid foundation for dance team. This workshop is limited to 30 students. The Studio offers competition opportunities for all genres and levels. From competition prep to high-level competing, we have opportunities for all dancers.
